Mission:
This Ward Mission Plan, is to help provide members opportunities to share the Gospel and/or Testimony with the Missionaries. While also strengthening the members along their covenant path in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Areas of Focus:
- Love, Share, Invite –
Through showing our Christlike Love towards our neighbors through acts of service and by sharing the opportunities found in the “life-transforming properties of Gospel of Jesus Christ”.
Members Should sign up on the missionary schedule link to designate times and opportunities to go out with the missionaries to teach with them and/or to be called upon to share their testimony of a principle of the gospel.
Then invite others to “come and see”, “come and serve” and “come and belong”.
- Covenant Path
Assist in teaching and fellowshipping those in whom the missionaries have identified and those who are progressing along the Covenant path outline found in the LDS Tools app.

- Combined Ward Youth Chair Soccer (Aug 28th, 6:30pm @ Hondo Pass Chapel)
- Stake Women’s Conference (Sept 7th, 10am-1pm @ Sumac Chapel)
- Ward FHE (Sept 9th, 6:30pm-7:30pm @ Hondo Pass Chapel)
- Primary Program (Sept 29th after Sacrament)
Ideas for Missionary Work:
- Invite people over for food with missionaries present.
- Monthly Ward activities that help us invite many people.
- Host Ward game nights in part of Mutual.
- Share one copy of the Book of Mormon.
- Ward FHE
- Join us in our homes for activities.
- Join us for worship and gospel learning.
- Attend special events, such as a baby blessing or baptism.
- Participate in ward and community activities or service, including projects organized through JustServe.org (where available).
- Participate in Church programs and activities. These could include Primary activities, youth activities, family history, self-reliance courses, BYU–Pathway Worldwide, and literacy and English courses.
