Our purpose is to gather scattered Israel to Jesus Christ by loving His children, sharing His Gospel, and inviting them to make and keep sacred covenants with Him.
Stake Goals
- Eight (8) Convert Baptisms a month
- Invite twenty-four (24) friends to Sacrament Meeting each month
- Index Online 500,000 family records by inviting all to join in the work to unite families for eternity
- All units to call a Ward/Branch Mission Leader
- All units to call a Temple and Family History Leader
- All wards to have a Ward Mission Plan and a Temple and Family History Plan, or a combined plan, which focuses on efforts to gather scattered Israel on both sides of the veil.
- Every male convert baptized receive the Aaronic Priesthood within 30 days.
- Every 18-year-old brother, and older, prepare to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood in preparation to receive his endowment.
- Everyone, 18 years old and older, prepare to receive their endowment.
- 70% of our young adults (Men: 18-25 years old / Women: 19-25 years old) serving missions by December 2025.
- Every unit to have one (1) service missionary serving by February 2025.
Responsibilities of the Stake
- Hold monthly Stake Missionary Coordination Meetings and review progress of goals and plan ways to strengthen individuals and families. The focus during these meetings should be:
- Focus the message on Christ to ensure we are able to have sacred experiences in Sacrament Meetings, as well as other church meetings and activities.
- Discussing ways to support the Unit Leaders to keep focus on new and returning members, including ways to help new and returning members find meaning in Sacrament Meeting.
- Reviewing progress along the My Covenant Path, including priesthood ordinations and temple ordinances.
- Review success in creating opportunities for temple and family history experiences.
- Review progress on having members present in all missionary lessons.
Responsibilities of the Ward/Branch
- Hold regular Ward/Branch Council meetings and create goals and plans for specific individuals and families. The focus during these meetings should be:
- Referrals to missionaries for new and returning members.
- Callings for each member of the Ward or Branch, including new and returning members.
- Progress along the Covenant Path, including priesthood ordinations and temple ordinances.
- How to help create opportunities for temple and family history experiences.
- Making adequate preparations for sacred experiences in Sacrament Meetings, as well as other church meetings and activities.
- Hold weekly Missionary Correlation Meetings with a representative from the Elders Quorum, Relief Society, Young Women Class, Aaronic Priesthood Quorum, Temple and Family History Leader, and Ward Missionaries. The focus during these meetings should be:
- Having members present in all missionary lessons.
- How to help new and returning members attend Sacrament Meeting.
- Helping new and returning members progress on My Covenant Path.
- Meetings should not be any longer than 15 minutes.
Responsibilities of Individuals and Families
- Engage in daily personal and family scripture study and prayer to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Invite friends to participate in church activities and meetings, especially Sacrament Meetings and other opportunities for spiritual growth.
- Help others progress along the Covenant Path by assisting with missionary referrals, inviting them to meet with missionaries, and supporting them in receiving their priesthood and temple ordinances.
- Participate in temple and family history work by indexing, submitting names for temple ordinances, and attending the temple regularly.
- Support new and returning members by providing opportunities for them to feel welcome and to find meaning in church meetings and activities.
- Make time for family service projects and other efforts to serve and gather scattered Israel, both spiritually and physically.
